YOGA - VEDIC WISDOM - MOTHERHOOD

Lakshya is a Hatha, Yin, Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga Teacher. She has been practicing yoga since the age of 18 in 2006, and teaching since 2010. She organizes Yoga Retreats in beautiful and unique place around the world, and also shares Vedic wisdom, Sanskrit and Chanting. She has conducted over 22 retreats so far! Her aim is to provide support and guidance in all aspects of Yoga, bridging Eastern knowledge and the Western way of life.​

Lakshya is also passionate about supporting women throughout motherhood, starting at pre-conception, throughout pregnancy, and postpartum. She is a certified doula, and a mother to a daughter herself. Her online prenatal and postpartum yoga classes are held on zoom, and safe for all mothers to join. Besides the physical aspect of yoga, she brings in other aspects to help students stay inspired, positive, aware yet also relaxed. She believes in the healing power of one's own body and is also a strong advocate of natural living and organic foods.

Lakshya completed her first yoga teacher training with Sivananda in 2010. Thereafter she studied Vedanta & Sanskrit with her Guru, Swami Dayananda Saraswatiji, for three years at Arsha Vidya Gurukulam, Coimbatore. Since then, Lakshya attends yoga & vedanta courses every year as part of her own sadhana. She has taught at the Barcelona Yoga Conference, the Vedic Wisdom Festival in Mumbai, and has her own Yoga series on Tata Sky TV.

Lakshya originally comes from Holland, but has spent her life living across the globe and found her home in India, where she has been living since 2010. She also visits Dubai for classes & workshops.
