Whether you had your baby 8 weeks ago, 8 months ago, 8 years ago, or even 28 years back, strengthening our core in the right way is extremely important. This class will give you an easy-to-follow and safe sequence to restore the core, that you can practice daily on your own.

About the Event

Some of us might have diastasis recti (a gap between the abdominal walls), a mommy pooch, or generally feel weak in the core resulting in back pain. This is likely due to weakened deeper abdominal muscles and pelvic floor, which can happen after childbirth. This class will guide you through a safe way of rebuilding strength in the core, and bringing a sense of compactness back- so that you can be feeling your best in your own body.

This class is open for all women. 

The following will be covered:

  • How to check for diastasis recti (relevant for women who have been pregnant)
  • Quick overview of what diastasis recti is
  • A Yoga class with a safe core strengthening sequence

After the class you will get the core strengthening sequence so that you can practice this on your own.

Please note that this class is not intended for vanity purpose or creating those 6 pack abs. The class is intended for healing and recovering. The exercises are slow and have to be done diligently and mindfully.
